A day of relaxation to me is a day where I have no homework in any of my classes. On school days, it is rare for that to happen to students. The idea of two weeks without any homework due every day relaxes me to the point of excitement. These are the days to sit back, watch TV, and eat Chocolate Swirl ice cream and not have to worry about anything being due the next day. However, when there is homework over the break, I freak out. I am in such desperate need of relaxation, that I postpone it day after day after day. I never forget that I have to do it. It is like an alarm that goes off every five minutes reminding you that you have to wake up.
Many students do not think the same way as I do. Surprisingly, there's a few out there that think homework is helpful during the break. CMHS Junior, Juan Partida, says, "I think we should have homework over the break, just because the current material we have done so far stays fresh in our heads." That's pretty good thinking. To me though, the whole point of my Christmas break is to not have a thing to remember for any class.
I am begging my teachers, and hoping with all my heart, that homework is not assigned to any students of CMHS. That would be a greatest Christmas present I could ask for.
