“I believe we have a good chance, if we just go out there and do what we have to do,” said Coach Kyle.
Mesa’s Junior Varsity team played a tournament this weekend, having won a total of two games out of four. The JV team did not get to place in the top three; which means no trophy. Unlike last year’s tournaments, JV managed to place in all three tournaments, taking two third places and a first place.
After having a team discussion with the coach, they all managed to agree that if they wanted to do better on Saturday, they had to communicate more in the playing field and move around.
Saturday morning I interviewed Coach Kyle as I asked how he thought the team would perform, due to their last performance. He said, “If we go out there and do things right, we might even win a game or two.”

The first game will be a challenge, but I am confident that we will win the second game, since we have beaten that team before.”
