The score board showed Guest 24 and Home 25 as Calvary served the ball. The ball traveled back and forth to each side of the court 3 times. Then, as the crowd remained silent, Danielle Obong spiked the ball and got the game winning point.
Although the game was close for their one win the Lady Mustangs couldn’t beat Calvary Chapel in their Senior Night game this past Tuesday at 4:30.
There are a total of 5 games played, and the first team to take three wins.
The second game came close to a victory, the score being Calvary 25, and the Mustangs 20. One member of Calvary’s team quoted this game as a “Good Competition”.
The third game that was played produced the most cheers from the crowd. The competition was neck and neck as each wanted to win the match.
The main player that spiked the most points was Molly Settles, the volleyball team’s captain. One of our girls managed to hit the ball into the air to stop them from scoring a point. Most of the games the girls were at par with each other and whoever made the least mistakes won.
At the very end of the game, the girls coach said, “The girls played well”.
