"Almost, Maine" definitely has a good storyline and its strong point mainly lies in its ability to draw out the different aspects and sides of love. The play was highlighted by several romantic and "cute" scenes and tended to draw out the feelings of the crowd and as a result, produced several squeals and "awws" whenever there was a romantic moment. Another strong point that made this play so enjoyable was the humor added to each story. With the combination of passion and a cheerful atmosphere through the use of comedy, the play was very engaging.
I also have to give credit to all of the actors for being able to pull off their roles with expertise and making the piece fun to watch. Each actor managed to demonstrate a professional performance and woo the crowd with their display of acting. Melissa Michaels and Eduardo Villegas each performed particularly well when it came down to showing off a burst of emotion during the play and demonstrated a strong control of their characters. In addition, Kory Bennion and Joe Williams gave very humorous and entertaining performances.
"Almost Maine" is an excellent play that successfully draws out the different emotions of the individual and should be watched by people looking for a romantic yet amusing and humorous drama. I definitely recommend this play to anyone who simply wants to have a good time and actually enjoys watching a good love story enfold before their eyes.
