However, there were no really bad costumes overall. Some people just put devil horns on but that, for me, isn’t qualified as a costume. The rest who actually put on a costume were all great.
There were a total of 9 Disney princesses in the school all of which were seniors. Trista Bell said, “My costume wasn’t made. We just got anything that would look like our costumes like the tiara.” When asked if it was difficult or annoying to put on she said, “No it wasn’t difficult. I was glad to do it. We wanted to do this since freshman year.”
A contest for who had the best costume was held at the big gym at lunch. The contest was based on three categories; Most Creative, Most Funny, and Most Original. There were about fourteen contestants, give or take. These costumes included a raccoon, cowgirl, Indian, police officer, prisoner, Disney princesses, Yogurtland cup, Hermione, Katy Perry, and two zombies.
The winner of the most Creative Costume was the Disney princesses. They were not all present but Jenny Daley, Kristi Adams, Angel Jesudasen, and Trista Bell made it.
The Most Original was Sophie Harriman. She said, “I made the costume myself. It took me 4 hours to make…It was definitely fun and worth making”.
The Funniest was Carly’s police officer outfit, which included a giant mustache, and Geoff Fulkerson as the prisoner.
