A word from the 2012-2013 Co-Editors in Chief summarizing this year's journalism class:
"As with our first year of the Equestrian, our second year had lots of ups, downs, and chaos. Mostly chaos. At the end of the day though, when you reflect upon failures, the growth, the success that we have made, you see a family founded on a love for journalism."
"Overall journalism was something that just taught me so much, not only about the basic journalism skills like newsworthiness and how to interview, but how to talk to people and really relate to them and make them trust you. And also about what connects all of us which I believe is learning about what surrounds us and doing our best to improve everything we can that needs improvement, because like Abuel always taught us, journalism works to bring knowledge to the people and empower them to do good. All in all I can definitely say i felt empowered thanks to all i learned in journalism. "
